Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a tincture?
A tincture is a very concentrated extract of dried organic herbs.
Do tinctures expire?
Tinctures purchased from Knight Holistic Health Practices have a shelf life of 18-24 months from date of purchase.  All tinctures sold are made within days or weeks of being sold.
Do your herbal tinctures contain alcohol?

Only one.  The thyroid tincture is processed with both glycerin and gluten/grain free alcohol.

How long will each bottle of tincture last?
That will depend on how often you use them, and how large the bottle is.
Are your tinctures safe for children?
That is a question best answered by your Holistic/Naturopathic practitioner.
Do your tinctures interact with other medications?
All of my products are labeled with every ingredient.  Here is a website that may help you.
You can always ask your Pharmacist for known herbal/drug interactions.
Why are some of your prices higher than your competitors?

I use organically sourced and/or wildcrafted herbs and glycerin only.  I also created these blends with only the most effective herbs in mind. Unfortunately, sometimes more effective herbs cost more money.  I always strive for the highest quality products for my customers.

Do I have to eat with your herbal blends?

Most of the tinctures/teas do not require food. These are plant derived and generally very easy on the tummy.

Do you offer consultations?

No, I do not.  I try to answer questions to the best of my ability, but I am not a Doctor, and as such I do not diagnose, treat, cure or prescribe. I do refer out most local clients to Living Springs Natural Health, a Naturopathic wellness center located in Rockwall, TX.
